On Sunday, June 23rd 2002 HRJA hosted a joint ride with Triangle 4wheelers.

It was a hot sticky day, but we still had about 30 vehicles for the ride. The first hill climb claimed two victims both having  a drive shaft problem. Rick Benedict snapped his rear yoke, and Rick West destroyed a universal joint. Mr. West was able to get back up and running, but Rick Benedict had to pack it in for the day. Good thing he brought the trailer! The rest of the group managed to make the hill climb with only a few being strapped

.

    The rest of the day was filled with hill climbs and mud holes as we all made it through the hills of Franklin
