On Sunday March 25, 2001 HRJA teamed up with Premier Rock Crawlers for a run at Wellsville Ohio.

Wellsville is comprised of several different levels of trail. Premier opted to stay on the harder trails, while most of the HRJA Members went with the milder side. Cris Miller from Premier was kind enough to lead the HRJA members through what proved to be a somewhat challenging day.

Both clubs would enter the trail head at the same place, but broke away at the top of the first hill climb. We did meet up with them at one point of the trails to find they had a slight mishap. One of their members rigs had suffered a broken tie rod end, but thankfully they were able to get him up and running again.

The need for winching was not needed that much, but some strapping was in order for a tricky hill. The hill was almost an "S" shape, and the possibility was great for you to loose your momentum as you rounded the last bend.

We ran alot of the creek bed, which was very rocky and very challenging at times.

Cris Miller gave us all a great show of just what he can do with his Custom built "Battle Axe"

At the end of the day, we met back up with Premier and found that one of our Members that ran with them had a little problem. Bob Edwards while climbing some rocks broke an axle and had to be pulled from the trail. They fastened a tree log to Bob's rig and were able to "Skid" it out.  Thank you to the guys from Premier that were able to get him out safe. Knowing Bob, he will be fixed up and running in no time, and will be running the hard core trails that he loves!

We would like to also thank everyone who set this ride up for us. Everyone had a great time!
